Supporting children and young people to process emotions, build confidence, and feel understood.

A Safe Space for Children to Process & Grow

I offer one-to-one play therapy for children (ages 3–12) and creative therapeutic support for teenagers (13–17).

These sessions provide a safe, non-judgemental space where children and young people can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels natural to them.

Through play and creative expression, they are supported to process difficult experiences, build emotional resilience, and develop confidence in themselves.

Why Play Therapy Works

Play is a child’s natural way of communicating.

When children don’t yet have the words to express what they’re feeling, they use play to process their experiences.

Through play therapy, children can:

  • safely explore big emotions
  • process difficult or confusing experiences
  • build confidence and self-understanding
  • develop healthier ways of expressing themselves

Over time, this supports emotional healing and helps children feel more secure in themselves and their world.

Creative Therapy for Teenagers

Teen years can be overwhelming, often filled with big emotions, pressures, and changes that can be difficult to put into words. Creative therapy offers a safe, supportive space where young people can express themselves in ways that feel more natural to them, without the pressure to talk before they are ready.

Through approaches such as art, writing, and other creative methods, teenagers are supported to explore their thoughts and emotions, build self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of coping. This process can help them feel more understood, more confident, and better equipped to navigate the challenges they are facing.

Your Child or Teen May Benefit from Therapy If They Are Experiencing:

  • Anxiety
  • Anger or emotional outbursts
  • Bereavement and grief
  • Low self-esteem or confidence
  • High Sensitivity
  • Bullying or friendship difficulties
  • Family changes (e.g. separation)
  • Trauma or difficult life experience
